Hey everybody,
The Bangaa's here doing up his first blog in almost 3 years. You might think it's easy to maintain a blog page, but when you're busy working with other social media channels, such as your YouTube channel, your Twitter feed, your ask.fm questions, etc., it becomes easier to neglect certain things in the name of convenience. Nevertheless, I haven't forgotten how to blog at all, but it will take some time to get back into this on a timely basis. For those of you who actually waited years for my next blog, you have the patience of the saintliest saint on Earth. But I rambled on enough, let's get started.
It's still a long wait to get to 14,000 subscribers, which would allow me to get started on Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Wii. Why the Wii version? Well, that's the version that I own, but I did beat the Gamecube version once as a rental. Sure I used the fishing rod trick on the final boss, but when you're only given so much time to play a game before you can return it, you gotta finish it quickly, right? That won't be the case with this LP as I plan to take my time accordingly to get whatever items are necessary for completion. I can't guarantee I won't be sloppy about it, but that just shows how human I am. Doing perfect all the time is just robotic, and I am not a robot...though I have been told I record/upload like one. Haha, just be thankful I'm not back to my upload schedule of many years ago, where I had uploads of up to 10 videos a day. I one week did 100 videos...in a SINGLE WEEK! And that was on crappier Internet speeds and monthly bandwidth. To me, two videos a day is a consistent schedule as many subscribers follow other channels as well, so it's more fair to help them catch up, so they don't feel left behind. Speaking of 14,000 subscribers, I hear there's another subscriber purge coming up. If not for those purges, I would've reached that milestone by now. However, those dead channels aren't watching my content now, so it doesn't really matter. I prefer to have the subs and views rather close to each other so that it doesn't seem very imbalanced. Numbers don't really matter as long as you can maintain a good rapport with your fanbase, and make them feel like they are a part of the show. But if some fans try to BE the show, you gotta be able to handle it accordingly, even if it involves tough decisions.
Mega Man Battle Network 4 Red Sun is also going really well, and I don't see it being as long as Battle Networks 2 and 3, since you actually have to beat the game three times to get everything. Yes I know, I mention that facet a lot as if I'm beating off a dead horse...no wait, it's beating UP a dead horse. Beating off a dead horse is not a metaphor, but a one-way trip to the mental institution. I don't even know if I plan to do the Hard and Very Hard runs as it's just the exact same story, with different paths in each of the tournaments. Items, such as new chips, and upgrades are also found in different areas in each difficulty, so that plays into my decision as well. Either way, it would be too repetitive, so that's a big factor into me just doing a Normal mode run. It may feel incomplete, but don't get upset with me. Blame Capcom for forcing you to replay a game...an RPG no less, multiple times for the sake of completion. If you're gonna do that, why not just make the other difficulties available from the start, and as a result, if you pick Very Hard, make the tournaments bigger so you can do all the paths in one go as opposed to three. Sure it makes the run longer, but you'd get it all done in one run. Perhaps Battle Networks 5 and 6 are much better as they may have done away with forced multiple runs, but I haven't played them yet.
I've also begun some recording on Dynasty Warriors 4: Xtreme Legends, which feel like an expansion pack of Dynasty Warriors 4. What makes it feel like its own game is that all 42 characters have their own levels, and there's an Xtreme Mode. Xtreme Mode is an endless run with one character from scratch, doing random missions until he/she is slain, or if you quit. I will do all 42 levels of Legend Mode as some of them are rather short. They also give me a chance to showcase each character's Level 11 weapons, which can only be unlocked in Expert Mode fulfilling certain criteria. I used the AI Glitch to get most of them, which requires you to save and quit a level right away, change the difficulty to whatever you want, select another Legend stage, then Select+Start that stage immediately, and continue the original Legend stage from there. The AI is not as aggressive, although they have the same HP, attack and defense as Expert mode AI. Right now, all I'm missing for Level 11 weapons is from Taishi Ci and Ma Chao. I already have footage of Ma Chao's stage without the weapon, so if I do get it, I'll just delete that footage and redo the episode with that weapon. As for Taishi Ci, his criteria is just so tedious as the soldiers you need to protect easily fall in battle. The first few episodes are done on Normal difficulty, but if I redo Ma Chao's level, I'll switch it up to Hard mode. Or if I don't redo it, Hard mode will start when I do Sima Yi's level. That LP will not start until probably the end of Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure. I do plan on starting the Empires series as well, but not with DW4: Empires. I'd rather start the Empires series with Dynasty Warriors 5, once I get the Empires version of that game. Trust me, you don't want to see me unlock those weapons as I had to save profusely, especially with Xiahou Yuan's stage. I mean, 300 KOs in 7 minutes? That's an extremely tall order, with some soldiers that ignore you to head for the encampment you're supposed to keep enemies out of. I would only frustrate the crap out of you guys if you had to see that content.
For those of you concerned about my health as I was violently ill in the first part of July, fear not. I am 100% better since a week or so ago, for it might have just been a stomach bug. Just in case, I did see a doctor and got some blood work done. I still haven't got the results back yet strangely enough, but if I'm not getting any news in a prompt matter, it seems that there's nothing wrong. Sure there are factors such as my family history, but I won't get into that for personal reasons. From now on, I will make a concerted effort to see my family doctor once a year as when I did see her, it was for the first time in seven years. Normally if you wait that long, that family doctor drops you as a regular patient and you'd have to look for another one. I guess I was lucky to still have her, so I have that going for me. So that's a little friendly reminder to all. Actually see your family doctor, even if it's once a year. Don't be like me for seven years, and once you do get sick, worry if your family doctor dropped you as a patient, then you'd have to go to the ER which takes an eternity.
So that would be it for today's blog. Almost 3 years worth...despite it being only about the last week or two. Thank you all for taking the time to read this, and I hope to keep you posted on more in the coming days and weeks.
